Have you ever been out on a limb either metaphorically or physically? Some people are natural-born risk takers. For me, I thrive on the adrenaline that comes from facing head-on what is yet unknown. It is exciting and if I am really passionate about it, I am 100% all in.
If we are purposing to live in God’s will, we will at some point have to leave our comfort zones and take risks by going out on a limb. We must be all in with God and His plans for our lives to have success. Where we can’t fathom a way in the natural, He can and will! If God is calling us out of our comfort zone, know that He will be out on the limb with us. Jesus died for us because he loves and cares for us that much Gal 3:13.
In Luke 19:4 Zacchaeus, the tax collector, climbed into a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus. He didn’t care who was watching him or that he was an adult climbing a tree because his focus was on Jesus. Read more about this story in Luke 19:1-10,

PeterIn Matthew 14:28-32, Peter walked on water toward Jesus and began to sink when he took his eyes off of Jesus. While you may feel secure in the boat, being closer to Jesus in God’s will is the ultimate security.
Wherever God is leading you, even if it is out on a limb, know when the Lord is our shepherd, we will lack nothing. When we seek first the Kingdom, we truly will have all we need.
